Karim Adatia assumed the role of general counsel effective April 1, 2026. A 16-year veteran of Insight, he brings an unparalleled depth of institutional knowledge and a comprehensive, trusted understanding of the company's unique business operations and culture.
Karim is a purpose-driven business partner with more than 25 years of diverse experience working on corporate, commercial, mergers and acquisitions, securities, real estate, and intellectual property matters in the United States, Canada, and Asia. He started his legal career practicing law in the corporate and securities groups at law firms in Vancouver, Canada, and Phoenix, Arizona, advising technology companies.
Karim earned his law degree from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada, and his bachelor's degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada. He is a U.S.-qualified attorney, after first being qualified to practice in Canada.
Today, Karim leads Insight's global legal and compliance functions, partnering with the business to create successful outcomes, meet ambitious strategic priorities, and manage legal risk. He has been a key contributor to Insight's global expansion and mergers and acquisitions activities, and his focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to transform legal services — while continuously growing Insight's patent and proprietary intellectual property programs — ensures the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
