Insight Noble Cause Campaign Donates Critical Funds for National and Local Organizations
Insight Enterprises, Inc., (Nasdaq:NSIT), a leading worldwide technology provider of hardware, software and service solutions, today announced that its teammates across North America raised approximately $200,000 for the 2015 Noble Cause campaign. The annual campaign is an opportunity for Insight to give back to local charities such as the Arizona chapter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation, the Phoenix chapter of the Boys and Girls Club, and to support the Ronald McDonald Houses in Tampa, Austin, Chicago, and Phoenix where Insight has a local presence.
"The Noble Cause campaign has always been a fantastic way for us to support charities, and this year we're also able to support the needs of additional communities where our teammates work and live," stated Ken Lamneck, President and Chief Executive Officer. "By working together with our teammates and partners, and by leveraging the technology we provide daily to our customers, the Noble Cause campaign allows us to play a unique role to benefit those in need."
Started in 2012, the Noble Cause campaign has been able to support more than 40 wishes for the Arizona Make-a-Wish Foundation. This year, in addition to that ongoing support, the campaign will provide donations and bring technology upgrades to the Arizona Boys and Girls Club and Ronald McDonald House in five regions.
Insight teammates across North America participated in the fundraiser as teams which were grouped by their geographic region or vertical sales area, including healthcare, education, and government. More than 25 of Insight's technology partners participated in the Noble Cause campaign, including Lenovo, Zebra, LG, EMC, Dell, HP, Nuance, Logitech, Microsoft, Adobe, ViewSonic, LANDESK, Black Box, Motorola, Autodesk, Shavlik, Fortinet, APC, Panasonic, Cisco, Juniper, Acer, Samsung, Symantec and Quantum. Each partner donated funds to inspire the Insight sales teams to exceed their goals.
