Customers can now also add iPhone to their Mac and iPad orders
MONTREAL, Nov. 07, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- It’s no surprise that employees feel more productive on the devices they’re most comfortable using, and Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ: NSIT), a Fortune 500 global systems integrator for organizations of all sizes, is bringing greater flexibility and modernization to Canadian workplaces by launching Insight Managed Services for Apple. Insight Canada will enable enterprises to offer employees choice to easily and cost-effectively deploy, secure and maintain iOS and macOS devices. Along with the new program, Insight Canada will now offer iPhone to customers, in addition to Mac and iPad.
“Apple users are passionate about iPhone, iPad and Mac, and companies need to be able to deliver the best experience at work,” said John Dathan, senior vice president and general manager, Insight Canada. “Employees today expect to use the best technology and in many cases that means the same technology they use in their personal lives, and that's why Insight believes fully in the vision of Apple at Work—where every employee gets access to the tools they love to do their best work, securely and with superior IT support.”
In the 2018 Insight Intelligent Technology Index, 36% of IT professionals said their employees expect more intelligent technology experiences, and investing in managed services provides the best means for them to manage and personalize their tools. That is why Insight is helping clients seamlessly introduce iPhone, iPad and Mac into their IT ecosystem, leveraging the provisioning and support from Insight.
The company launched a similar solution called Insight Managed Mobility for Apple in the U.S. in September. Through both solutions, Insight deploys, supports and manages Apple devices across their lifecycle so clients can offer a completely integrated experience with other favourite applications like Microsoft Office, Salesforce and Cisco WebEx.
“Employee choice is better for productivity, and Insight makes it easy to adopt iOS or macOS into any enterprise environment,” said David Mayer, vice president and general manager, Connected Workforce at Insight. “Employees can work and innovate the way they want today, better enabling our clients to grow and transform for tomorrow.”
